Couldn't Wait
Okay, at this point I couldn't wait any longer. In come the chairs, speakers and projector to try out the new screen. |

New Projector
Very shortly afterwards I got a new Panasonic PT-L300U projector. You can see it sitting on top of the old SharpVision projector. Greatly superior projector in a much smaller package. |

Paint (color 4)
The black is beginning to go onto the walls. |

Paint (mountains)
Masking has been removed and work begun on painting the mountains. They are only two colors, the darkest blue and black. Here the blue is going on. |

Paint (mountains)
This took quite a bit of time. I had to use a small brush and fill in the edges of the moutains where they had previously been masked. |

Paint (mountains)
Now the black goes on. Quite a few other changes as well. The projector has been mounted and the original mask is on the screen. More on those in other galleries. |

Paint (mountains)
The room looks so different with the walls painted. It wasn't as obvious while working on it because if was a slow transformation. But when I go back and look at the pictures its pretty amazing what paint can do. |

Paint (mountains)
The bright lights of the camera flash don't do justice to how the walls look in their natural light. The camera also doesn't capture to colors quite right. |

Paint (more blending)
The final blending of the black and blue of the maintains pretty much finishes the walls. (Finally!) |
