Front of House

Finally got a good picture of the front of the house. You can see they have the temporary roofs on the bays on the dining room and library. Eventually they will get a metal roof. Right now they are just covered in tar paper.

Drywall

Master bath looking from where the sinks will be toward the whirl pool tub.

Drywall

Master bath from the tub area back toward where the sinks will be. You can see the soffit with the lights that will be above the vanity.

Drywall

Toilet room in the master bath.

Drywall

Master bedroom from the master bath door.

Drywall

Master bedroom from the windows back toward the bath.

Drywall

Great room from the master bedroom door toward the kitchen.

Cooktop Vent

They had to take off some drywall to install the vent for the cooktop hood vent. In the background you can see the soffit that will be over the built-in oven cabinet. That also had to be fixed. It wasn't wide enough.

Drywall

Nook and Sun room from the Kitchen.

Drywall

Kitchen and great room from the nook.

Drywall

Great room stairs from just inside the kitchen.

Deck

They covered part of the deck railing to create a privacy fence. The sections to the right will also be covered. The hot tub will eventually sit in that corner.

Drywall

The bridge from the great room.

Drywall

Looking into the dining room from the entry way.

Drywall

From the dining room looking back into the entry way and library. You can see part of the dining room tray ceiling. They still have another part of the tray ceiling to add that the rope light will be in for indirect lighting.

Drywall

Looking into the library from the entry way. You can also see the front coat closet.

Drywall

The fourth bedroom from the doorway.

Drywall

This is from the bridge looking toward the guest room.

Drywall

Looking down into the entry way from the bridge.

Drywall

Looking out the guest bedroom window down into the great room.

Drywall

Down the hall toward the bonus room. The computer room is on the right, the guest bath on the left.

Drywall

The bonus room.

Drywall

They had to cut an opening into the lower attic so they could put in the kitchen cooktop vent.

Drywall

Look down the stairs. You can see how they added the wall to the outside of the steps. The oak treads of the stairs will cover the gap.

Drywall

The flare out at the bottom of the stairs.

Lower door way

They had to add some framing to the master bedroom hall doorway so that it would be the height of a normal door. Had to do that because the built in shelves in the great room go over the door. For some reason the framing crew originally made the door 9 feet tall.

Drywall

The game room from the far corner toward the stairs.

Drywall

The theater media room with all our wire.

Drywall

The theater. They had to take the drywall back off the ceiling because they had not put the insulation in yet. It is insulated for sound not heat.

Drywall

The hall leading from the game room to the theater.

Drywall

Stairs from the basement to the first floor.

Drywall

Sunroom from the nook.

Drywall

Looking up toward the celing of the kitchen so you can get a good look at the soffits and lights. The upper cabinets hang from the soffits.

Drywall

This is looking down the back hall from the kitchen. There are two pantries, one on each side of the hall then the laundry room.

Drywall

The laundry room. Hard to get a good picture of it.

Drywall

The garage.

Drywall

We have foot prints on the ceiling. How did some one walk on the 18 foot ceiling! :)

Window Seat

The window seat they installed in the guest room. They had to put it in to have somewhere to run the cooktop vent.

Drywall

Attic access to the main attic. This is in the guest room.

Drywall

From the guest room looking out the door into the hall. You can see the linen closet straight across the hall.

Drywall

Looking into the guest bath from the hall. The guest bedroom is through the other door. This is another room that is hard to get a picture of.

Transom Windows

The glass for the master bedroom and sun room door transoms has finally arrived. They are in cardboard in the garage (blue arrows).

Electric Line

Electric company has staked out where the electric line will run from the tranformer to the house.

Deck

View of the deck from the ravine. Took this to show off the nice facia covering around the edge of the deck.

Well Location

The company that will drill the well has marked where they think it should go (blue arrow). Looks good to us.

Cooktop Vent

They ended up putting a vent on the roof for the cooktop vent. Nice vent. And its in the back of the house.
