Driveway
On Friday they had poured the outside back part of the loop. |

Driveway
Today, they finishing pouring the driveway. It turned out as good as I was hoping it would. We had measured out everything so the monuments to be evenly spaced even though the driveway has an odd shape. I was holding my breath it would be right and it turned out great! |
Driveway
This is a shot from further in. They did a good job curving the inside part of the loop once I told them I didn't want the outside edge straight. |

Driveway
This is from the house back toward the road. |
Priming
The priming is all done. Looks more and more like a house with each thing they do. |
Cement Board
The cement board--or Durarock as they call it--is installed. It is the base for the tile in the master bath. The curve there is where they will transition from carpet to tile. They haven't lined the shower yet. |
Cement Board
They also have some of the cement board in the guest bath, but its not done. |

Duct
The Beast continues to grow. It's tenticles are reaching out into the basement. This is how far they had gotten with the ducts on Friday. |
Ducts
Now it reaches around the corner and dips under the steel beam. |
Ducts
And it just keeps going. It splits and heads into the crawl space for the nook, sun room and laundry room. The other end heads back toward the great room. |
Thermostat
As of Friday the beast was actually working--at least its electrical assist heater was. The geo-loop is still not hooked up. |

Hardwood Floor
When I was there Friday evening, the delivery guys showed up and unloaded the hardwood flooring. This only a small pile of it. There is another bigger pile behind me. |
Hardwood Floor
I couldn't resist opening a box and getting some out to see what it looked like. Thank goodness it looks just like I expected; didn't need another surprise at this point. The picture makes it look darker and pinker than it really is. |
Hardwood Floor
On Monday, as I expected, they went to work getting the floor put in. They got a pretty good section done considering they first had to move all the boses out of the way then spend some time getting their starting line all squared up. You can see the red rosin paper they are putting over it. I actually rolled it back so I could take the picture. |
Canopies
The copper canopies are installed. I really wish they would stay this color. You can also see the copper flashing they did for the roof. It looks really great. The flashing was a surprise. I didn't know they were going to do that. |
Canopies
Here is a wider shot of both Canopies. |

Back Sidewalk
The back--or more correctly side--sidewalk and step have been poured. |
Garage Step
The garage step has also been poured. Quite honestly I liked the wide wooden one they had there temporarily but it stuck out too far for a car to park on this side of the garage. Of course we don't plan on parking a car on this side, so I may extend it myself later. |
