Garage Floor
Thursday they cut expansion joints in the garage floor. |

Garage Floor
This little forked cut was interesting. I guess it helps cracks from forming around the column. |

Here you can see how deep they cut. They cut all the way through the slab. The horizontal line that looks like a crack is really where the concrete sits on the pea fill. You can also see the one inch of smoother concrete at the top. |

Backfill & Grading
Can't see much of the foundation sticking out of the ground from the driveway any more. |

Backfill & Grading
Mound of dirt is almost gone. The rest will be used to fill in around the front porch and where the lumber is sitting. You can see on the lower right of the picture how low the front porch forms are now. |

East side looking at the sun room. They will need to install the well wall around the crawl space opening before the final grade which comes much later. |

Backfill & Grading
From down in the ravine. The slope looks like a good balance between keeping the ravine and being able to mow the hill. |

Backfill & Grading
This picture really loses the depth of field so you can't really see the slope, but the grader did a good job. |

Backfill & Grading
You can see the slope better in this picture. |
