This shows the bolts for the sill plates. The sill plates are boards that will be put on top the foundation. Also interesting how shiny the concrete is. It looks wet, but its not.

This is the garage front wall. Here you can see the base for the column that will be between the two garage doors.

For some reason they put up this single form and poured concrete in front of it. The form is obviously to keep the concrete from running down the slope, but I don't know what its for. It is right under a steel beam. Maybe its an impromptu pier mount.

If you look close you can see the top of the form for the crawl space opening.

Interesting little jog in the foundation. It is not as narrow as it looks. They didn't screw up, its like that on the plans.

Front of the garage again.

Sill Plate Bolt

This is what one of the sill plate bolts looks like. They simple stick the 'L' end down in the concrete once it is poured.

This little cut out is probably for plumbing, maybe HVAC, to go from the crawl space to the basement. The laundry room is over the crawl space.

If you look close at the very end of that wall, you can see the Styrofoam that forms the angled support for the steel beam that will span from here to the far wall to support one of the walls of the nook.
