Electric Meter
We now have our temporary meter installed. |

Electric Meter
Looks like we are starting at 630 Kilowatt hours. Probably a used meter since they should not have used any power yet. |

Footings
Upper footings are done and the forms removed. |

Drain Tiles
Good picture of the drain tiles connected all together. |

They have most of the foundation forms around the lowest part of the basement done. They have to start at the lowest point an work up. |

Tried to take this picture so you could see the reinforcing that is inside the foundation walls. There is a better picture below. |

There is a shift in width here. Scott and I think this is wrong. On the original plans there was no brick under the window at the corner--the brick needs a ledge to sit on. We changed that at the last minute. Looks like they may be working off old plans. We have sent a message to our builder about this. |

Standing Water
Not too much standing water left from the down pour last Friday. This picture was taken on Monday. |

Here you can really see the rebar reinforcing they are putting in the foundation walls. The little cross braces hold the forms together and support the rebar. I don't know what they do to the ends of them when the forms are removed. |

This is where the lower basement connects to the upper. You can see the 2x8 angled board at the bottom. This is showing where the jut out goes that's in the library. |

A picture from down inside the basement. Amazing how adding some height makes it all look much bigger. We were thinking the foots seemed small. |

Thought this was interesting how they use the pins to hold the forms together. |
