Electricity!
Ok, turns out the cable we saw at the temporary meter was not the electric cable, it was just the pig tail from the meter sticking out of the ground. They have now install the real electric run. You can see the path here. |

They have started on the footings. This is Thursday (4/4/02). You can see the rebar to hold the forms in the lower right of the picture. |

Pier mounts
These four squares are pier mounts. There are four steel columns that will sit on them to hold up the center of the house. Four very important pieces of concrete! |

You can clearly see that they have sunk the area where the theater will be. This is so the theater can have tiered setting. |

This shot shows the window jut-out in the Library. Not sure how they will tie the upper part to the lower part of the footings. You can also see the rebar sticking out the footings that will tie the footings to the foundation walls. |

Driveway
This shows the driveway. The gravel is temporary so the heavy trucks have a better surface to bring things in on. The red line shows where the driveway circle will come back around. They won't cut that out until later. |
