Sheathing

They finished all the first floor sheathing today.

Sheathing

They didn't use much of the foam board for sheathing. By the time they put OSB on all the corners there wasn't much left that wasn't covered.

Sheathing

They also cut out all the windows and doors in the sheathing.

Sheathing

This is what the 2" foam was for. They filled in all the pockets where walls come together.

Stairs

We almost have stairs to the second floor. Still a bit of work to do. We also think we figured out why the bottom four steps of both stairways are not finished. They have to come back later and flare out the bottom of the stair. So the 2x6 steps are temporary.

Second Floor Joists

They almost finished all the second floor joists today. Some of them are just temporarily nailed. They will finish putting in the joist hangers tomorrow.

The bridge. If you look on the bottom of the lam beam to the left you can see a temporary 2x4 that is holding up the joists until they get the joist hangers in.

Back Fill

All the rain yesterday made the back fill around the foundation settle. That's good. Hopefully it will get good and settled before they come back and do the final grading.

Walkways

Like I said it rained a lot yesterday and its really muddy. The workers made themselves some walkways. Not as bad as Kentucky red clay, but almost.

More Critters!

We have Rickys! (Racoons) We have not seen them yet, but they are obviously about.
