Insulation

They have begun installing the insulation. They seem to be doing a good job. This is in the bonus room.

Insulation

Not sure why that small section to the left has a paper backing.

Insulation

You can see here how they have sprayed foam in behind the electrical boxes to keep they from being drafty. They have filled a lot of gaps with the foam.

Insulation

The white things are venting flutes so that air can circulate into the attic from the soffits. They put in extra insulation at the bottom of them so the blown-in insulation that will be in the attic will not fall down into the soffits.

Insulation

They have also filled all the virtical holes with foam. This acts as both a fire stop and insulation.

Low-voltage Wiring

These are two of the three major cable paths. These are running through the ceiling of the basement to the east side of the house. Probably the hardest part of the job was cutting all those 2" holes in the joists. Luckily that was early in the process when we still had energy (and help)!

Low-voltage Wiring

This is one of the many places where the wires come up from the basement. This is in a kitchen wall. Most of these wires are going to the laundry room and sun room. Some are going on up to the guest bedroom.

Low-voltage Wiring

Another major bunch of cables coming up through the master bedroom wall going on upstairs. This was the only path up to the second floor front of the house.

Low-voltage Wiring

This is a media room where all the wires end up. This picture was actually taken to document the electric lines in the ceiling so its not that great at showing our wire. You can see some of it in the lower right coming out of the conduit. There are twice as many wires in conduit to the lower-left, but the ladder got in the way of those. I will take a better picture some time.

Low-voltage Wiring

This is the third major wire path. This is through the ceiling of the theater (looking straight up). You can see where it branches to the right in the middle of the picture. Those are the wires going up the wall of the master bedroom.
